A great opportunity to join a friendly and progressive company based in Milton Keynes. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will have two main areas of responsibility, payroll and accounts.
Running payroll for approximately 150 people, previous experience is required. To include creating a payroll journal for importing into the accounts software. Monthly reconciliation of the PAYE account and reconciliation of pensions.
Calculating bonuses, update and maintain HR paperwork for any new starters and leavers, issuing uniform and monitoring holiday and sickness. Ideally some knowledge of employment law and the ability to research queries and provide information and advice to management.
Posting invoices, dealing with copies of invoices and statements. Chase payments and produce a sales ledger each week, running credit checks when required.
Proficient use of Excel is required, good communication skills, the ability to be confidential, work to deadlines with high levels of accuracy.
