To provide customs admin support as part of the Finance team following post Brexit. This 8 month FTC opportunity is based in Luton and is responsible for ensuring all related customs paperwork is correct and maintained for all EMEA plants.
The position is needed to identify and resolve delays in shipments due to customs clearances, support movements of materials, as well as assisting with additional compliance paperwork and reviews which result from the extra customs movement. The ability to coordinate customs shipments of new cross border shipments mainly to and from the UK. Coordinate UK import instructions from carrier, assist with preparation of new month-end report post Brexit. Perform spot checks on import documentation storage and on invoices from customs agents.
Extensive administration, ensuring correct paperwork is raised, manage payment requests and prepare information for month end report post Brexit.
Use of SAP and intermediate/advanced level of Excel is required. Good time management skills, ability to to work to deadlines, with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
